The founder of IOTA, David S?nsteb? officially announced that Johann Jungwirth, Chief Digital Officer of Volkswagen AG is joining the IOTA Foundation.
IOTA coin runs on the Tangle based blockchain system using directed acyclic graph (DAG) which is applied in a distributed ledger protocol. This decentralized network does not need miners as every user is as miner without any reward, resulting in zero cost transactions.
