This is also confirmed by the government media agency IMDA, which has been focusing on the blockchain ecosystem since 2019 and has created a map of all companies in this sector.
On the map you can see blockchain companies divided into specific sectors and categories. We can also see famous names from the crypto world here such as Omisego in the Decentralised finance category or the Libra association within Financial services.
Compared to 2019, IMDA records a 50% increase
These statistics are also the result of the policy of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, which actively supports experimentation with private industry in cross-border payments using blockchain and distributed ledger technology.
