Ledger SAS?s famous hardware wallet from France announced on Twitter on the 21st of November 2017, they will allow Ledger wallet users to send Bitcoin Gold after the Bitcoin fork.
After the biggest successful split from Bitcoin mainchain when Bitcoin Cash started propagating its blocks, there was another fork on block 491,407 with the name Bitcoin Gold. This new BTG coin is focused on mining blocks with Equihash algorithm instead of SHA256, which is the basis for ASICs chips. Everybody who had Bitcoin in their wallets during this fork will also receive BTG based on their BTC balances.
