The European cryptocurrency exchange ETERBASE was hacked and users lost their crypto assets.
According to an official report published by ETERBASE, the attack was targeted at hot wallets from which the hackers stole crypto assets worth $ 5.4 million.
ETERBASE immediately started acting and cooperating with law enforcement authorities and the next day published the addresses where the funds were to be transferred.
After finding these addresses, the company contacted all centralized exchanges that could receive these funds.
However, crypto traders who have lost their funds do not have to worry, and ETERBASE assures that it has enough capital to fulfill all their obligations and to continue on their journey.
Further details are not yet known, as the investigation is still ongoing.
