The official launch of ETH 2.0 is approaching and the necessary network activity increases with it.
As we recently informed you, the expected launch date of the ETH 2.0 network is estimated so far on 1st December 2020, 12:00 UTC. However, the launch of the network is conditioned by several factors and one of them is that there must be at least 16384 32-ETH validator deposits 7 days prior to December 1st.
Analysts at Arcane Research have focused on what ETH’s deposits look like so far.
As of 9th November, more than 50,000 ETH’s were deposited, which means that almost 10% of the required amount to launch the network is currently met.
If this fails, genesis will be started 7 days after this threshold has been met.
