On April 7, the Russian agency TASS published statements by Dmitry Peskov on the digital economy of the Russian Federation.
Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday’s online press conference that the country’s digital technology development program has failed.
“The digital technologies of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) are working, the digital technologies of the National Digital Economy Program are not working. This is a fundamental difference. in terms of end-to-end technology development,” said Peskov, who answered the question of the difference between NTI digital technologies and national programs.
He claims that, according to him, only the relevant NTI centers are working on the development of digital technologies, and the national program hardly participates in this development.
“The National Technology Initiative (NTI) is a program to create new markets and provide the conditions for Russia’s technological leadership by 2035.
NTI has approved roadmaps for technology development in the areas (markets) of Aeronet, Avtonet, Marinet, Neuronet, Helsnet, EnergyNet, Tehnet and Circle. Among the NTI ‘end-to-end technologies’ – artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, quantum technologies, new and portable energy sources, neurotechnology and more. The tasks of the NTI are integrated into the national Science project.
According to the national project passport, 14 JTI competence centers have been created in Russia. The operator of the project to create NTI competence centers is the Russian venture capital company.” states TASS
